KCCA FC will be keen to build on their recent dominant performance when they visit an inconsistent UPDF FC at Bombo Barracks Military Grounds on Thursday.

Fresh off a 5-0 demolition of relegation-threatened Mbale Heroes, KCCA aims to maintain momentum and climb the league table. Meanwhile, UPDF seeks redemption after a narrow 2-1 defeat to URA FC in their last outing, though they previously stunned SC Villa with a 2-0 home victory.

Team News

UPDF will be boosted by the return of right-back Christopher Kawagu, who missed the URA clash due to suspension. Additionally, Samuel Ssekamatte, Emmanuel Ochen, and Shakib Mayanja are back from injury and available for selection.

KCCA, on the other hand, will miss six key players. Mustafa Mujuzi (muscle injury), Hassan Muhamud, and Ettiene Katenga are unavailable, while Steven Munguchi and captain Julius Poloto are out due to illness.

Teenage midfielder Brian Ijara is with the Uganda Cubs preparing for the U-17 AFCON. However, the return of Ashiraf Mugume provides a much-needed boost.
