Ghana’s senior female national team will embark on a nine-day training tour in Senegal as announced by the Ghana Football Association, (GFA)
The training tour for the Black Queens forms part of the preparations for the upcoming Women's African Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Morocco. The training tour will take place during the April FIFA window and will feature two international friendly matches against Senegal's Teranga Lionesses in Dakar.
Head coach Kim Lars Björkegren will use the two games to assess the players for the second time after replacing Nora Hauptle and signing a two-year deal.
This training tour follows a similar camp organized by the GFA during the February FIFA window where the Black Queens lost 1-0 to Morocco in their backyard.
These training tours are part of the senior women's national team's buildup to the Women's Africa Cup of Nations, scheduled to take place in Morocco from July 5-26, 2025.
