Vision FC were taught football lessons by record Ghana Premier League holders Asante Kotoko in the last game of the 17th round of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League.

Following the humiliating 4-1 defeat at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday, Vision FC head coach Nana Agyemang has reflected on his team's performance and the valuable lessons learned from the encounter. He praised Kotoko's tactical approach and shared an interesting detail about their preparation.

"Let me congratulate Asante Kotoko," coach Agyemang said. "One of the boys told me that Coach Ogum made them watch my pre-match five times and capitalised on what I said to play a good game."

Reflecting on his team’s performance, Agyemang acknowledged the challenge posed by Kotoko emphasizing that his side may have shown their opponents too much deference.

“My side gave Asante Kotoko too much respect in the game,” he noted, underlining the importance of maintaining confidence and composure in high-stakes matches. The newly promoted side could not match the firepower of the Porcupine Warriors as returnee striker Kwame Opoku grabbed a brace with Peter Amidu Acquah and Saaka Dauda scoring one each to hand all three points to the two time African Champions.

The result keeps Vision FC rooted in 11th on the league table on 19 points with their next match on January 26 against Berekum Chelsea at the Golden City Park.
