Wolverhampton FC coach Vitor Pereira has cast doubt on the prospect of new signing Marshall Munetsi featuring in the starting line up when they face Blackburn Rovers on Sunday.

Pereira told Wolves media the Zimbabwean international and other new arrivals were still finding their feet.

"It’s difficult, because Marshall worked just one time with us, and Nasser, tomorrow will be the first [full] training," he said.

"So, it's difficult to understand the time, to understand what we want from them, and the time to connect with their teammates. It will be difficult, but we’ll see."

However, the Wolves boss refused to rule out the possibility of throwing the ex-Orlando Pirates star into action off the bench against the Championship side in North London in the FA Cup fourth round game.

“It is difficult for them to start. Maybe I will give them some time, but to start, no,” he added.

The Warriors player has penned a three-and-a-half-year contract with a 12-month option.

Munetsi comes to England with a big reputation after featuring in 159 games for Reims where he spent six years.

The 28-year-old broke into the professional ranks when he signed for Orlando Pirates in South Africa in 2017 before signing for the French outfit three years later.
