Morocco and Fenerbahce attacker, Youssef En-Nesyri proved why he was a good buy from Sevilla when his brace propelled the Turkish giants to a 3-1 win at home to Kasimpasa on Sunday.
The 27-year-old announced his presence on the field after just 21 minutes, firing the opener for Fenerbahce. The opener cushioned Jose Mourinho’s charges for the first and the second half when Turkey defender, Oguz Aydin doubled the lead on the 52nd minute.
En-Nesyri, who has been in some blistering form for the Atlas Lions of Morocco, nailed Kasimpasa’s coffin with his second goal and third for Fenerbahce. In between Fenerbahce’s three goals was a consolation for Kasimpasa from the boot of Senegal forward, Mamadou Fall on the 62nd minute to peg the game at 3-1 in full time.
Fenerbahce are second on the league log with 57 points from 23 matches, three behind leaders Galatasary who have a game in hand.
Elsewhere in Greece, Tanzania striker, Mbwana Ally Samatta opened the scoring for PAOK in their 7-0 thrashing of Lamia in match day 23.
Samatta increased his scoring tally to three goals in seven matches this season since joining PAOK from Turkey giants Fenerbahce on a two-year deal.
