Zamalek assistant coach Amir Azmy Maged expressed his happiness following the team's victory over Al Ittihad Alexandria in today's league match, securing three crucial points.

In his post-match statements Maged emphasized that Zamalek's performance has improved despite the limited time the coaching staff had since taking over. He noted that the team is now playing faster football and extended his gratitude to the players for following the coaching staff's instructions.

Amir Azmy Maged continued: "I hope the discussions surrounding Zamalek focus on positive aspects and avoid exaggerating problems. Everyone talks negatively about the club without acknowledging the positives."

The assistant coach added: "The league is tough, and the competition is strong. The upcoming period will require fans to strongly support the players in the important matches ahead."

He further stated: "I ensure that I support the head coach’s instructions and do not focus on the criticism I face. I know my duties and roles well and I respect Gross as the head coach. I am part of his supporting staff and work under his guidance without seeking personal recognition."

He concluded: "We are doing our best to serve Zamalek, and I am confident that under Gross, the team will improve in the upcoming matches. The performance will continue to get better as the games progress."

Zamalek secured a 2-0 win over Al Ittihad Alexandria at Cairo International Stadium in the 7th round of the league. With this victory, the White Knights raised their tally to 14 points, remaining on the top spot in the standings.
