Zamalek captain: We are aiming to win third meeting against Al Masry

Zamalek’s captain Omar Gaber emphasized the significance of the upcoming CAF Confederation Cup match against Al Masry. The White Knights will face Al Masry on Sunday in the fourth round of matches in Group D,


Speaking at the pre-match press conference, Gaber said:


“We are facing a strong and tough team, and this will be the third game between Zamalek and Al Masry in a short period. Our opponent is an organized and powerful team but Zamalek aims to win and secure the three points. The players are determined to achieve all the championships the team participates in.”


Gaber added:


“We are playing many matches in a very short period and the players understand that the league is exceptional this season. Every player is giving their all to be part of the squad and everyone is ready to step in when needed.”


He went on to say:


“The motivation among the players is strong for tomorrow’s match. We represent a big club with a huge fan base, both in Egypt and abroad. Zamalek fans are always strongly supporting the team, whether locally or internationally The team has faced difficult circumstances but all the players are determined to keep winning and compete for all the titles.”


The match will take place on Sunday at 4:00 PM GMT at Borg El Arab Stadium. The first-leg match between the two teams in the third round ended with Zamalek winning 1-0.
