Zamalek SC head coach Christian Gross stated that the match against Al Masry, scheduled for Sunday in the CAF Confederation Cup, is important due to the strength of the opponent and Zamalek's desire to maintain the top spot in Group D.

Speaking at the pre-match press conference, the Swiss tactician said:

"The match against Al Masry is tough, but Zamalek is capable of securing a win tomorrow. Facing a team from the same country makes the task challenging for both sides, especially since each team knows the other very well. It will not be easy for either Zamalek or Al Masry."

Regarding the availability of star player Ahmed Sayed "Zizo", Gross commented:

"Zizo is a professional player and I have known him for five years. He is eager to participate despite suffering from a cold. His health condition will be evaluated to determine his final status for the game."

The coach concluded:

"In my opinion, the game might be decided by a set-piece due to the closeness in level between the two teams."

Zamalek will face Al Masry tomorrow, Sunday, in the fourth round of the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup.

The match will take place at 4:00 PM GMT at Borg El Arab Stadium.
