Swiss coach Christian Gross, the head coach of Zamalek Egypt, stated that his team had control over the course of the match for the most part during the game against Talaa El-Gaish, which ended in a 2-2 draw today in the Egyptian Premier League.

The coach added in the press conference: "Controlling the course of the match is not enough in football. We conceded goals, which made the game more difficult, and there was haste to score. I am disappointed that we didn't achieve the win."

Gross continued: "There is no solution other than working seriously and focusing, and we must prepare strongly for the upcoming match against Ittihad Alexandria in the league."

He further added: "We are dealing with the current group of players in the team at least until the end of this month, and we will see what happens in January regarding reinforcements."

The Swiss coach continued: "We must currently focus on the current group and give our best effort. Zamalek's reaction was strong after Talaa El-Gaish's first goal, and we scored two goals. However, we should not have conceded the second goal in that way."

Gross explained that foreign players must make a difference, as the Egyptian league is physically demanding, and it is necessary to play with strength. He emphasized that he expects a lot from the team's foreign players.

He added: "I will not decide today which player will leave the team, as that will be discussed with the management, not in the press conference."

The coach concluded by saying: "Ahmed Mostafa Zizo is a very important player for Zamalek, and every opponent fears him."

Zamalek drew 2-2 with Talaa El-Gaish in a match held at the Military College Stadium during the sixth round of the Egyptian Premier League. After this draw, their points increased to 11 and they became at the top position in the competition standing.
