The Zamalek Board of Directors confirmed in an official statement that the club will play today’s match against Al Ahly in the first round of the league decider stage at its pre-scheduled time—Tuesday at 7:30 PM GMT—while strongly rejecting any attempts to postpone the game to a new date, regardless of the reasons.

Al Ahly released a statement on their social media pages with certain demands, indicating that it was unlikely that the club would honor Tuesday's highly anticipated fixture.

Additionally, the Zamalek board announced its refusal to change the officiating crew that was announced on Monday by the Egyptian Football Association, in accordance with the regulations set before the start of the season. Zamalek also insisted on rejecting any delay in the match’s kickoff time by 60 minutes.

Zamalek called on the relevant authorities and governing bodies of Egyptian football to enforce the regulations on all parties.

This statement came after Al Ahly earlier today announced its refusal to play the match under an Egyptian officiating crew, insisting on a postponement and the appointment of a foreign refereeing crew for it. Al Ahly also decided to withdraw from the Nile Egyptian League this season if there is no positive response to their demands.
