
Dr. Mohamed Osama, the head of the medical staff of Zamalek's first football team, has revealed details about Abdallah El-Said's injury, sustained during the recent match against Haras El Hodoud in the Egyptian Premier League (Nile League).
Dr. Osama confirmed that El-Said is suffering from fatigue in the anterior muscle on his thigh, according to the examination he underwent after the Haras El Hodoud match.
The medical team head added that the 39-year-old attacking midfielder is currently undergoing a rehabilitation program to prepare him optimally for participation with the team in the coming period.
Zamalek will host Nigerian side Enyimba at 4:00 PM GMT on Sunday, January 19, at Cairo International Stadium in the sixth round of the CAF Confederation Cup group stage.
Zamalek had already secured qualification to the quarter-finals after defeating Mozambique's Black Bulls 3-1 in the fifth round, topping Group D with 11 points.
