Dr. Mohamed Osama, head of Zamalek’s medical staff, has revealed the details of the medical tests and scans undergone by Tunisian player Ahmed Jefali following the injury he sustained during Tuesday's match against ENPPI in round 17 of the Nile Egyptian League.

In statements to Zamalek’s media center, Dr. Osama confirmed that the tests and scans showed that Jefali suffered a hamstring tear.

The medical team head added that the player will follow a special rehabilitation and treatment program to prepare him in the best possible way for a return to the group training as soon as possible.

Jefali picked up the injury in Zamalek’s recent match against ENPPI, which ended in a 3-0 victory for the White Knights. He was substituted in the 28th minute.

Zamalek’s next match will be against Modern Sport on Friday in the Round of 16 of the Egypt Cup.
