The Zamalek board of directors have approved the loan transfer of Palestinian forward Omar Faraj to Swedish club Degerfors IF until the end of the current season.
This decision comes after the approval of the coaching staff, led by Swiss manager Christian Gross who welcomed the idea of loaning the player during the ongoing winter transfer window. The coaching staff expressed their support for the loan move to give Omar Faraj more playing opportunities in the upcoming period.
Zamalek’s board has finalized all the necessary details for the forward’s loan transfer to the Swedish club. Faraj joined Zamalek last September from Swedish club AIK on a four-year contract.
Since his arrival, Faraj has made only five appearances for Zamalek and scored one goal against Enyimba in a CAF Confederation Cup match in early December.
