Zamalek assistant coach Ayman Abdelaziz stated that the CAF Confederation Cup quarterfinal draw is relatively good for his team after learning they will face South Africa’s Stellenbosch FC.

In statements to Zamalek’s media center, Ayman said: "Zamalek is a champion team and the title holder. Everyone is currently focused on the upcoming Cairo Derby against Al Ahly in the Egyptian Premier League."

He continued: "The players and the coaching staff did not pay much attention to the Confederation Cup draw. Their only goal was to find out the opponent, as everyone is fully focused on preparing for the derby."

The Zamalek assistant coach stressed that African matches always bring surprises, and the team aims to achieve a good result in the first leg while competing for the title to retain the trophy. The first leg of the quarterfinal will be hosted by Stellenbosch on April 2 with the return leg in Cairo on April 9.
