Zambian youngsters sign for Spanish side Cadiz

Zambian youngsters Aaron Mbemba Kawangu and Twizard Mulenga have signed for the academy of the Spanish second-tier team, Cádiz FC, from Zambian club Kafue Celtic FC.

 

Cádiz have confirmed the signing of Kawangu on a permanent contract until 2029 and Mulenga will move on loan to Cádiz reserve team Mirandilla until the end of the season with an option to buy him.

 

“Two new promises for the Cádista youth team. Mbemba Kawangu and Twizard Mulenga from @KafueCeltic FC of Zambia join the Cádista youth academy,” Cádiz tweeted.


The Zambian second-tier side Celtic have released a statement confirming the transfer of its talented youngsters.

 

“This is a monumental step in their football journey, and we couldn't be more excited to see them represent our club and Zambia on the global stage,” the statement reads.

 

“Aaron and Twizard, your dedication, skill, and hard work have brought you to this incredible milestone. We wish you nothing but the best as you embark on this new chapter in your career. May your time in Spain be filled with success, growth, and unforgettable moments.”

 

Kawangu is a towering and talented central midfielder whereas Mulenga is a defensive midfielder and both players are aged 18.
