Ahmed Sayed "Zizo," the Zamalek SC star, has released an official statement talking about renewing his contract with the club.

Zizo's current contract with Zamalek is set to expire at the end of the season. Negotiations are underway to secure his renewal amidst rumors of multiple offers he has reportedly received from other clubs previously.

Recent speculation also suggested that Zizo's father, who also acts as his agent, had declined the latest offer from Zamalek for his son's contract renewal.

Following these incidents, Zizo issued the following statement:

"Out of respect and appreciation for Zamalek’s fans, I would like to clarify the following:
I prefer not to delve into details and instead focus on responding and performing on the pitch, as that is my job. However, many false rumors have been circulating recently, and I do not know their purpose. Some people continue to use my name to stir controversy.
My ultimate goal is to maintain the stability of the club. I believe Zamalek and its fans always deserve the best. I also believe that the relationship between a great club and its players should be based on mutual respect, especially considering the difficult circumstances the club is currently facing.
In this context, I find the ongoing discussions about this issue saddening and deeply unfortunate. This matter should be put to rest. We are all aware of the challenges the club is going through, and it is inappropriate to accuse any party or assign blame without clear evidence.
Regarding my situation, I have always proven my love and loyalty to Zamalek and its fans. I feel no need to justify this further. I am also fully aware of the struggles the board is facing due to the financial burdens and significant expenses incurred during this crisis.
If Zamalek wishes for me to stay, I will remain until the financial crisis is resolved. If my case is the last one to be addressed after settling players' dues, renewing contracts, and bringing in new signings, I am willing to wait. If the club sees that benefitting from my transfer financially serves its best interest, I am ready to cooperate in any way possible.
Ultimately, my only goal is to see Zamalek and its fans in the best possible state and position. Thank you all."
