Prosper Narteh Ogum awarded a two-year deal as new Asante Kotoko coach

Following a 2020-21 Ghana Premier League season that saw their rivals Hearts of Oak not only win the league title, but also the domestic cup for a double, Asante Kotoko have a new coach. Prosper Nartey Ogum will be tasked with bringing the Porcupine Warriors back to prominence following the former West African Football Academy manager’s hiring over the weekend, replacing Mariano Barreto. Nartey led WAFA and their young squad to an excellent third place finish in the 2020-21 season and the thoughtful coach who is also known as a lecturer at the University of Cape Coast will be expected to bring an analytical approach to the job.
