After over a month off from domestic league play to focus on CAF Champions League duty, Simba SC returned to form in the Tanzania Mainland Premier League with an easy 5-0 victory over Mtibwa Sugar on Wednesday. With two strikes from Rwandan forward Meddie Kagere as well as goals from stars Luis Miquissone and Clatous Chama, the Simba attack overwhelmed the visitors starting with Chama’s excellent free-kick in the 9th minute.
Simba move up to second in the league table and only trail rivals Young Africans SC by two points with three games less played. Video of Simba’s goals are below.
