A disagreement over the kick off time between Tanzania’s biggest rivals Simba SC and Young Africans SC resulted in the postponement of the Kariakoo Derby on May 8, causing a government intervention with Prime Minister Kassim Majaliwa requesting details from the clubs regarding the refunding of tickets for the paying fans who missed out. The Tanzania Daily News reports that the new date for the rivalry game will be on July 3 with steps taken at all levels to ensure the ticket situation is sorted out.
