Former Asante Kotoko forward Yacouba Songne tallied to start the scoring in the 26th minute by meeting a cross with a lobbed header that caught the JKT keeper leaning the wrong way. Congolese defender Tuisila Kisinda completed the scoring four minutes later when the hosts failed to defend a routine cross and Kisinda lashed home a low shot.
In the other match from Wednesday, CAF Confederation Cup participants Namungo played to a scoreless draw at relegation threatened Gwambina.
