Union extends helping hand to sold Celtic, Royal players

The purchase by Royal FM of Bloemfontein Celtic’s DStv Premiership spot in South Africa’s top division and subsequent sale of their second tier spot to Tshakuma Tsha Madzivhandila (TTM) means that Royal will inherit the squad from Celtic while the team under their name this past season will be moving to Limpopo where TTM’s ownership is based. However, not every player is quite willing to make the rapid move to a new team and location and questions still remain about the squad composition for TTM in particular. Sowetan Live speaks with South Africa Football Players Union (SAFPU) president Thulaganyo Gaoshubelwe regarding the assistance his organization can provide to players looking for a solution if they have issues with making the move.
