As the Nigerian Professional Football League prepares to enter the second phase of its season next week, it was revealed that the most notable arrival into the league, Ahmed Musa, will not take part in road games that he is not able to fly to for Kano Pillars. Pillars chairman Surajo Yahaya acknowledged that the current economic situation and quality of roads in the country make providing good facilities for the former English Premier League player very difficult on road travels.
Re-joining the club to boost its profile after a long period spent abroad, Musa will likely make his debut on May 5 with the news. Punch Newspapers reports more on Musa’s situation.
