Wrap up of African player transfers

Numerous transfers featuring African players were confirmed on Thursday with the transfer window deadline coming and going in the evening. The most notable move included Chelsea’s acquisition of FC Barcelona and former Gabon national team star forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who figures to be an important addition for the Blues’ attacking depth.
