Egypt national team legend Amr Zaki was announced by Egyptian Premier League giants Zamalek SC as the club’s new vice head of the youth department this week. The 38-year-old has reportedly undergone some struggles off the pitch in recent years and expressed his gratitude to Zamalek and club president Mortada Mansour for giving him an opportunity to serve the club where he made his name. Zaki scored 35 goals in 88 Egyptian Premier League appearances for Zamalek as well as 30 goals in 63 appearances for the Egyptian national team, spending two seasons in the English Premier League.
