ZIFA come out with guns blazing

Unlike the majority of African national teams, Zimbabwe will not be taking part in the upcoming international break with no exhibition matches scheduled to further the Warriors’ preparation for FIFA World Cup qualifying matches in September. The Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA) stated that the abrupt postponement of the qualifying matches, previously scheduled for June, made the circumstances too difficult to schedule any games on short notice.
