Complications from the abandonment of last season in Zimbabwean domestic football is continuing to impact the restart of the Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League this season. In response to concerns from clubs regarding the impact of the abandoned season on player contracts, the Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA) stressed that it does not wish to interfere in affairs between players and their clubs but have provided guidelines for both parties and are willing to step in if clarification is needed in specific cases.
