Kermit Erasmus had to be stretchered off due to an ankle injury during Mamelodi Sundowns’ DStv Premiership victory over Stellenbosch and concerns were that the forward was going to be out for a long period of time. The ankle injury suffered by the forward was substantial, ruling him out for 4-6 weeks at the most but will be a relief to initial reactions. In the meantime the supersub will not be available for South Africa’s upcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
