However, the coach is confident that the Taifa Stars can make the nation proud and get over the final hurdle to clinch a spot in the Africa Cup of Nations next January.
There will be no margin for error in the opening match on the road against Equatorial Guinea on Thursday with Tanzania needing at least a draw to stay in the hunt, currently sitting two points behind their opponents for the final spot. IPP Media additionally reports that top goalscoring threats Simon Msuva and Mbwana Samatta will arrive on Tuesday to reinforce the squad. Msuva has been earning regular match time with Wydad Casablanca while Samatta has scored 4 goals in 23 games this season for Fenerbahce in the Turkish Super Lig.
