Warriors in the right frame of mind, says Loga

Despite having some key members unavailable, Zimbabwe coach Zdravko Logarusic indicated he does not have any fear over his team’s ability to generate offense at Botswana in AFCON qualifying on Thursday. Logarusic indicated he does not know if European-based stars Marshall Munetsi and Tino Kadewere will be able to arrive in time due to travel difficulties and was hopeful of having them available for the second match against Zambia.

Botswana have proven to be quite to difficult to break down with only three goals conceded, holding Zimbabwe to a scoreless draw in their first meeting back in November 2019. Despite Logarusic’s confidence Zimbabwe captain Knowledge Musona described how important the loss of Kaizer Chiefs forward Khama Billiat is ahead of the match. Still recovering from a long-term injury, Billiat and Tino Kadewere’s absences will take away a good amount of star power from the Warriors attack.
