The Indomitable Lions of Cameroon have an AFCON ticket booked, sitting on ten points at the top of Group F but will face an opponent with plenty of motivation on Friday in Cape Verde. The Blue Sharks are looking to take advantage of Rwanda’s victory over Mozambique on Thursday to make their move into second place with a positive result at home. Cameroon star striker Vincent Aboubakar stated that despite some absences there is plenty of talent in the Cameroon pool to get a victory at the island nation.
Cameroon coach Antonio Conceiçao highlighted that the Indomitable Lions will miss Fulham midfielder Frank Zambo Anguissa but that he has been happy with the togetherness shown by his group of players. Conceiçao acknowledged that the artificial pitch Cape Verde uses will take some adjustment.
