Abdul Fatawu showed everybody his massive potential and natural skill by winning the Best Player award at the Africa U-20 Cup of Nations and helping Ghana to a championship run. The 16-year-old made his debut for a Ghana ‘B’ squad in a friendly against Uzbekistan, scoring the lone goal in Ghana’s 2-1 defeat. His coach for that game, former Black Stars player Ibrahim Tanko, states his belief that Fatawu is ready sooner rather than later to feature with the full Ghana national team squad.
