Egyptian club Zamalek are not taking their CAF Champions League elimination without a fight, arguing in a complaint filed to CAF that Tunisian club Espérance conspired with MC Alger to draw their match in order to help the Algerian side advance at Zamalek’s expense. Zamalek needed a win and Espérance to defeat MCA in order for the Egyptian side to advance to the CAFCL quarter-finals, but MCA surged back in the second-half to claim a draw in Tunisia.
