In a situation reminiscent of the initial return of football from the Covid-19 pandemic, CAF announced that Friday’s CAF Super Cup matchup between Al Ahly and Morocco’s RS Berkane will require the teams and officials to enter a “bio-bubble” upon arrival in Qatar in order to create a safe environment. Egyptian giants Ahly won the CAF Champions League last season and Berkane took home the CAF Confederation Cup to create the matchup that will take place in Doha.
