Difficulties arose once again relating to Covid-19 testing and the postponed Sierra Leone-Benin matchup scheduled for Monday was once again unable to be carried out. Where last time the Benin squad refused to accept the results of Covid testing, this time around it was Sierra Leone who refused to take the field after being informed that six squad members had tested positive. CAF will once again have to sort out another complication related to the upcoming AFCON tournament after news earlier in the international break that the tournament draw was postponed.
