Ghana Premier League starlets make their move abroad

Two of the Ghana Premier League’s top young players will be playing in European football next season. Augustine Boakye has had an excellent season for West African Football Academy (WAFA) and the 20-year-old has been rewarded with a move to Austrian Bundesliga side Wolfsberger SC. Boakye has seven goals and eleven assists in 25 games for WAFA this season.

Abraham Okyere only made four appearances this season for International Allies but is one for the future. The 18-year-old completed a transfer to Belgian Pro League club Beerschot V.A. Okyere will be moving to the club, who finished in 9th place this past season, on a two-year deal.
