Confederation Cup: Caf investigates pitch invasion at final

Raja Casablanca’s victory in the final of the CAF Confederation Cup last weekend was marred by a group of supporters who invaded the pitch during the medal awarding ceremony for the Moroccan club in Cotonou, Benin. CAF announced in a statement that it will investigate who was responsible for the disturbance and apply sanctions if necessary to discourage future incidents, particularly as the CAF Champions League final approaches on Saturday.
