According to social media statements from Ugandan power club Kampala Capital City Authority Football Club (KCCA FC), midfielder Steven Sserwada has completed his long rumored transfer from Ugandan football to Major League Soccer side New York Red Bulls. The 18-year-old found great success in the 2021 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations staged earlier this year in Mauritania, being highlighted on this website as a top performer during Uganda’s run to the final before bowing out to Ghana.
