After three months on the sidelines due to a sports hernia injury that has minimized his preseason preparations, Zimbabwe star forward Tino Kadewere made his return for Ligue 1 side Olympique Lyonnais on Saturday by coming on as a 63rd minute substitute in their 5-3 exhibition defeat to FC Porto. The appearance marked Kadewere’s first action since the beginning of May and the striker will be hoping that he can build on a successful debut campaign for the team that finished fourth in the 2020-21 Ligue 1 season, where Kadewere scored 10 goals in 33 league appearances.
