Group G is shaping up to the be the most suspenseful in the CAF section of FIFA World Cup qualifying, with South Africa currently sitting at the top after a win and a draw in their opening games. Manager Hugo Broos named his squad for Bafana Bafana’s next matches, a doubleheader against Ethiopia where the team can make major strides towards firmly establishing themselves at the top of the group. Luther Singh had passport issues following his last call up and only recently was able to return to Danish club FC Copenhagen, causing him to stay in Denmark in order to focus on fighting for first-team football.
