Uganda names local-based list of players for FIFA World Cup qualifiers

It will be a “do or die” occasion when the Uganda Cranes face Rwanda home and away in their next two FIFA World Cup qualifying matches on the 7th and 10th of October, and manager Micho Sredojevic named a large group of locally based players to compete for roster spots this week. URA, Vipers SC and KCCA FC are all well represented in the 33-player list as players based abroad will join up at a later date. The Cranes have neither scored nor conceded a goal through two games so far, sitting in a tie for second place in Group E with Kenya but trailing group leaders Mali by two points.
