Namibia reveal Blackburn Rovers agreement after Ryan Nyambe call-up

Blackburn Rovers defender Ryan Nyambe missed out on Namibia’s first round of FIFA World Cup qualifying matches, but the 23-year-old will be available for when the Brave Warriors travel to take on Group H leaders Senegal in the first match of their crucial doubleheader against the Teranga Lions. Nyambe will be unable to take part in the second match in South Africa, Namibia’s home match on neutral ground, due to the country’s status on the United Kingdom’s “red list”, an issue that continues to plague African national teams during qualifying.
