Ivory Coast star defender Serge Aurier’s next move was confirmed on Monday, with the former Paris Saint-Germain and Tottenham Hotspur player moving to La Liga side Villarreal on a free transfer Monday. The 28-year-old signed on a one-year deal with an option for Villarreal to activate two more seasons. Aurier will take part in Ivory Coast’s two FIFA World Cup qualifying matches against Malawi over the international break before taking part in activities with his new team.
