The Carthage Eagles of Tunisia have looked unstoppable so far in their FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign with shutout victories against Zambia and Equatorial Guinea the reason for them sitting comfortably in first place in Group B. Now a doubleheader against Mauritania awaits this week with a couple of victories against the group’s last place team likely to be enough to all but secure their spot in the final round of the CAF section. Despite their poor form so far with two losses from two matches, Mauritania will welcome back star striker Aboubacar Camara and are unlikely to be pushovers based on their recent history and gradual improvement with regards to African football.
