Benin names 25-player squad for World Cup qualifiers against Madagascar and DR Congo

The national team of Benin and manager Michel Dussuyer named the squad of players who will be available for crucial 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches against Madagascar at home and DR Congo on the road in Group J. Attacking midfielder Jodel Dossou of Clermont Foot will be available after missing out on the last round of matches, while CS Constantine forward Marcellin Koukpo is also back in contention for a spot. Otherwise, Dussuyer’s team remains largely unchanged as the Squirrels hope to push ahead of Tanzania, who they are currently tied at the top of the group with on seven points.
