A list of forty players was released by Gambia national team coach Tom Saintfiet, from which the Belgian tactician will select his final squad for the West African nation’s debut appearance at the Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon. The inclusion of 23-year-old AS Saint-Étienne midfielder Mahdi Camara is the biggest news with the former French youth national team player’s switch of allegiance now apparently official.
