Ghana national team supporters have been excited about the prospect of young center back Mohammed Salisu representing the Black Stars, but the 22-year-old Southampton FC player has been hesitant to accept call-ups citing the need for stability in his club career before concentrating on national team duties. Any Black Stars fans hoping to see Salisu make his debut at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations will have to continue to wait, as Salisu maintained his position and will not be a part of Ghana’s AFCON squad.
