Expectations are high for Tunisia heading into the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon, and Tunisian supporters want to see the Carthage Eagles improve on their semifinal appearance at the 2019 edition in Egypt. Tunisia are coming off success in FIFA World Cup qualifying and most recently a runner-up finish at the 2021 FIFA Arab Cup. Manager Mondher Kebaier continues to win over the support of the fans after his appointment in August 2019 was met with a lukewarm reception, but still has his critics due to high expectations.
