Mauritania in good shape for TotalEnergies AFCON – Da Rosa

The Mauritania national team are hoping to improve on their debut appearance at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations when they start action in Cameroon for the 2021 edition, and manager Didier Gomes da Rosa expressed optimism that the team can perhaps advance beyond the group stage based on the team’s pre-tournament preparation. The team played two friendlies during the course of a 10-day training camp in Abu Dhabi, drawing Burkina Faso 0-0 and playing out a 1-1 draw against Gabon on Wednesday.
