American top division Major League Soccer continues to bring in African talent as the league’s offseason moves on with teams making roster moves to boost their squads, and Ohio-based team Columbus Crew added to their Ghanaian contingent with the signing of 24-year-old playmaker Yaw Yeboah. The 2015 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations Best Player was purchased by the Crew from Polish club Wisla Krakow, signing a contract through the 2024 season with a club option for another year. Yeboah is a graduate of the Right to Dream Academy in Ghana, beginning his European journey at Manchester City before going on multiple loans and spending time in Spanish football before finding his stride in Poland. He also has four appearances for the Ghana senior national team.
