Senegal reap rewards of sticking with trailblazer Aliou Cisse with Afcon glory in sight

Senegalese supporters were displeased with their team’s initial performances at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations and long-serving manager Aliou Cissé in particular drew plenty of criticism. However, the tide has turned in a major way following more pleasing results from the Teranga Lions and now the pre-tournament favorites are preparing to play the final against Egypt.
